Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress is famous for her roles as the main character on a number of TV programs as well as her strong performances in movies. Her popularity is shared by both Canadian as well as American television. Emily was interested in acting when she was 12. When she was 12, Emily visited her elder sister Katie on the set of a film. Once she had realized that acting was her interest, she started to learn how to act as well as attend auditions. The first commercials she auditioned for were and was soon the role of a child actor on the Canadian television show, Are You Fearful of the Darkness? The only part she had was one with no sound. In the year 15 Emily got her first big break when she became an actor on the WB series Glory Days. Emily's acting talent caught Greg Berlanti's attention when the series was cancelled after only nine episodes. He subsequently cast Emily in Everwood the new television show. Emily is also a dancer, a photographer and was named one of the top 20 teens' actors. Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 listed Emily as 51.
